Dr. Chulsung Bae, Ph.D
Hydrogen Fuel Cells

Dr. Chulsung Bae received a Ph.D in chemistry at the University of Southern California in 2002 under the guidance of Professor G. K. Surya Prakash and Nobel Laureate Professor George A. Olah. In 2002, he moved to Yale University to carry out postdoctoral studies with Professor John F. Hartwig investigating functionalization of C-H bonds in alkanes and polyolefins. Since 2004, he has been an assistant professor of chemistry at UNLV.
In 2008, he won a career award from the National Science Foundation. The major focuses in his group are developing novel recoverable polymeric catalysts, new organic/polymeric materials for electronics or energy storage, and polyelectrolyte membranes for fuel cell applications.

Research International collects and identifies biological and chemical threats. Rea search International specializes in optical chemical and biological sensing, micro-machining and microfluidics, and miniature rechargeable battery technology.
Both products and services are characterized by a high level of innovation and interdisciplinary problem solving, representative of the broadly diverse team of scientist and engineers working at the company.

Lucine's crowd-sourced R&D platform will launch in February. Handler Marrs, Ph.D. is the founder and CEO. Lucine is a Henderson NV based business.
This forum is to discuss the economy of the State of Nevada and how it affects the state budget. The formu is open to the public and starts at 1:30 pm at the Grant Sawyer Building.
